I’ve been traveling since college, and back then I didn’t have enough money for hotels and Air Bnbs, but I did have a Subaru Forester. I created my first car camping kit out of necessity so I could go on a month-long trip to visit my sister halfway across the country. The first setup was heavy and crude, but it taught me a lot about how to not make a car camping kit.
