Damaged During Shipping
If your CarCamp kit arrives damaged, inside of damaged packaging due to shipping, we are committed to making it right. To initiate a return for damaged items, please follow these steps:
- Document the Damage: Take clear photos of the damage to both the product and the packaging. These photos must be submitted to us in order to process the return.
- Return Process: Once we receive the photos and verify the damage, we will initiate the return through UPS. We will either send replacement pieces for the damaged part(s) of the kit and cover the return shipping costs for damaged items, and/or send a new kit.
- Timeframe: Please notify us of any shipping damage within 3 days of receiving the product.
Incorrect Fit
We offer returns for kits that are do not fit your vehicle, but do not pay return packing or shipping for these orders. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the CarCamp kit is compatible with their vehicle. Please carefully measure your vehicle and compare the specifications to the product details. We provide a compatibility guide to assist you, as well as videos to walk you through the measuring process, but it is important that you verify fitment before purchasing. Returns will be accepted for kits that do not fit vehicles under the following circumstances:
- Return Period: Returns must be requested within 10 days of receipt.
- Condition of the Kit: The CarCamp Kit must be returned in original condition.
- Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs, as well as packaging if you do not return the kit in the original packaging.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact our customer service team at hello@gocarcamp.com. Be sure to include your order number and any relevant photos of the damage (if applicable). We will guide you through the return process. Please allow 1-3 business days for a reply. We're a small team and we're doing our best!
